Default expectation of headers and axle hop

i scored a set of headers for my 3.8l. i plan on just doing the headers as im not to satisfied with the sound of a full exhaust. i know i wont get much performance gains with only doing headers but what kind of sound difference do you think i will get with the stock exhaust?

also i experience bad axle hop when doing things like donuts and screwing around in parking lots. what can i do to fix this

But a Borla Adjustable Cat-back, and high-flow cat along with it and you will be much happier...

What year?

2002 3.8l. i would do a full exhaust but i dont like the raspy/ricey sound the v6s put out. im thinking with just the headers it ill sound different but not dumb

with the borla adj muffler you can tune out the rasp... as for the wheel hop replace all the bushings in the rear end with poly
