MagnaFlow vs. FlowMaster??? I have dual flows on it now and it sounds really nice but the outlets and tubing on the magnaflow are ahalf inch wider so i was wondering if the magnaflow exhaust would make my car louder...?

 

i'm runnin magnaflows on my elcamino the sound is great

 

I would personally go for the Magnaflow.

Nevermind about that sound clip, thats for the V8. I don't know why they put it on the page for the V6 exhaust. Its still the right link to the exhaust though, just wrong sound clip.

 

magnaflow is probably better but a little more expensive...i havea flowmaster that sounds great until about 4000 rpm and then gets raspy but i got it for 50 bucks with the pipes...couldn't beat that...if cost isnt an issue go with magnaflow

 

I agree w/ the others...magnaflow is better but more expensive. I have a flowmaster and have no complaints but if I had more $$$ i would have went with a magna

 

i just got a magnaflow cat back for my 95 3.4l and it wasnt cheap but i deff think it was worth it. it sounds real nice.

 

from what Ive heard Magnaflow sounds better on V6's, but the Magnaflow sounds a little ricey at high rpm's. Then again, I guess you can only get that V8 growl from a V8.

 

My magnaflow sounds great on my 02 3.8, I love it.

Im listening to a few more as I post this, and so far they seem a little better

 

Mine is a little bit deeper. The tips you buy also affects the sound. For example, look at my pic under my username, I have rectangular tips that dull the sound a bit more. Getting things like headers, cold air intake, and high flow cat each make the sound better as well, believe it or not, they make a noticeable difference.
