i have a 95 3.4 v6 right now. i got it and it already had the exaust done with an 80 series flowmaster. the car sat for a while and now the exaust makes a vibrating sound..and a mechanic said it just needs the 80 series replaced and that he can do that there. should i just get another 80 series or should i try something different? i like the sound the 80 series has on mine..but is there something better i can put on a 3.4?

 

it all depends on ur personal taste, id look around at what others have on the net and around where u live

 

I used to have the RK Sport exhaust with oval tips on my 3.4l and it was a little high pitched. Earlier this year the muffler broke and now I have a stock muffler that comes on the z28 (because it has one in and two out, so i could keep the oval tips) and it sounds a lot better (more melow and not as high pitched) and it was a heck of a lot cheaper. That is just my experience. Go with what you like.

 

the flowmaster is good. its not really loud but its decent. sounds really nice when idiling..but it does fade away and sound like a sixer when going faster. most of my friends think its an 8 though when just idiling. ill look around before i get it done..any one know of any specific brand and models that would be good for it?

 

My friend has a 95 camaro that has ram air, 2 flowmasters and a slp loudmouth exhausts. The slp one is really loud and makes the car seem more aggressive than it really is. It sounds good just loud... hence the name.

 

If can can figure out how to get a sound clip on here. I'll do it before he sells it. Ill try to get a video or something.
