Default Erroneous Broken Things

I have had my 2001 V6 for about 7 months now, and it seems like every month I am finding the oddest things broken on it. Not necessarily mechanical things but like... the adjustment buttons (bass, treble, fade, etc) are all cracked in half but nothing else on the player is broken... one of the levers behind the seat is broken off (just the plastic piece).... I just found out that the holes where the screw threads on the back of my headlights are supposed to be mounted are both broken off.

HOW does stuff like this get broken when the rest of the car is in perfect condition? Oh also the left side of the hood is bent up about a half inch, you can't really notice it's off unless you're right up next to it but once you know it, it's obvious. The CARFAX report is clean, I checked it a number of times before I bought the car.

Any thoughts?

It is almost a 7 year old car, but you are right, there are some unusual things happening that shouldn't happen for a long time. I have to agree with Chappie though (which it seems like I've been doing a bit lately) The previous owner probably only saw it as a car and for transportaiton purposes only.

Thanks Banks, experience pays off. You gain experience with lost of scars, busted up knuckles, wrenches lost in the neighbors bushes and busted crap in the garage. Kinda a funny story....I got so pissed one night I was trying to remove a Y pipe. Using plenty of heat and penetrating oil. I probably worked on the manifold studs for at least an hour. Back and forth, heat em, soak em, rinse, lather repeat. When I finally thought I was making progress, SNAP!!!!!!!! I lost it! Swearing, throwing ****, you name it. I slid out from under the car and threw the can of penetrating fluid. Upon hitting the wall, it impailed itself on a nail sticking out of the wall. Of course, the can was full. What a F-in mess all over me,the car,my tools, walls, cealing, the dog,the cat, goldfish, the neighbors dog and cat.........I took a shower on the front lawn that night with a little Gojo, man, do I hate the smell of oranges. Can you say pumice in the *** crack?

aint that the truth...I spent hours today looking for 1/8 inch copper tubing for a new oil pressure guage. I refuse to use the plastic crap so dont even mention it, they always leak..Ever have a plastic line getting 60+ psi of oil crack while driving..Can you say, and I will quote Tracy Loards"what a nice warm mess that made."
