now that you mention it, i checked my oil and it was way above the 'full' line. and i was wondering why it was like that. but right now my car is sitting in my driveway because it is not insured will that cause problems if the oil is too high still or just when i drive it?

 

It's not going to hurt a thing just sitting. Just be sure to lower the oil level back down before you start the engine again.
