hi, guys. new to this forum. i recently bought a 1999 Base V6 automatic. 125,000 miles. after a drive i noticed smoke coming up from the passenger side. i diagnosed (incorrectly) the passenger valve cover gasket. i just got back from a test drive after putting it all back together and (whee!) smoke coming up around the exhaust manifold. i've searched the forums and didn't find any ideas.

where is the next likely place the oil is getting onto the exhaust system if it's not the valve cover gasket. i haven't gotten back under the car yet, so i'm not saying it's the exhaust manifold, it could be getting on the y-pipe for all i know. pretty frustrating!
