Default Leaking under passenger side

Well i just finnished gutting all the plastic pannels out of my car, to start prepping for restoration, and i noticed under the dash on the passenger side close to the door theres water leaking. The foam thats in there is soaked and the carpet under the dash was wet.....what could this be from?

t-tops leak a lot. Probably from that if it has them, if not, could just be a leak in the window.

also, what kind of shape is the heater core in? could very well be that

I have the same problem! and from what ive read and heard, and seen for myself! it is the drain tubes for the T-TOPS they run down the rails and dump out behind the fender and the front of the doors, but i have yet to fix mine, it needs all new rubber thru out, and will be done this spring when it gets a complete paint job, good luck with it and let me know if its a pain to fix or is something else that is causing the wet carpet.

Check your heater core see if it is leaking unless it has been sitting for a while if you have been driving it up to this point i would also check the floor boards for small holes

you could always dip your finger in it, and dab it on your tounge, if it tastes bitter, its coolant. BTW,,, DO NOT SWALLOW THIS! spit it out.. lol

The way I usually test this is by taking out the carpet, squeezing the liquid into a bowl, then give it to the neighbor's dog. If it dies, I know its the heater core. If not, you can look someplace else.

Btw for you people with no sense of humor, that was a joke.
