My 1995 Camaro recently had a starter put it because it wouldnt start.......it starts up fine now........heres the problem........the morning after the starter was installedi was driving it..........and all of a sudden air bag light came on, abs inop light, check gauges "flickers" on and off (not flashes), check engine light flickers on and off, and then sometimes it will all go off and back to normal......i have seen no mechanical problems with it except the battery ive had in for a long time fried and started spitting out water.......so i put a new one in......and the same thing keeps happening

If any1 has any ideas let me know this has stumped my next door neighboor mechanic........so PLZ HELP!!!

 

Oh thought i might mention this when i had the old battery in i had the alternater tested with a volt tester....it read 14v and was steady..... havnt had it tested with new battery

 

It would appear that the battery is getting overcharged, or it is overfilled.
