i am currently finishing up a lifter job on my 96 3.8 and i was wondering about yanking the egr. My buddy had it done when he got his headers installed on his 98 TA and the guys re programmed it for him. i was just wondering if anyone knew if you have to reprogram it or anything, i havent removed it or anything i am just asking to find out some more info! thanks

its not necessary, but you wont pick up any power from it. you will throw an SEL when you remove it so the tuning is only to get rid of the light
