I want to install some custom lights in my 99 towards the dash area that come on/off when my door is opened (like the dome light does). Does anyone know where I might find a good tie-in wire for this?

 

don't the mirror lights come on when you open the door?

 

Mirror lights? Like the rearview mirror lights? I'd like to find a wire somewhere around the underside of the dash area.

 

wile we are on this topic..no..my lights dont come on when i open the door. Not a big deal, just curios since it was mentioned.

 

i think stan was just curious as to why you want/need more lights if these are functioning correctly.

 

Oh no, these are lights I want to add. Like some LEDs and crap (nothing gay and ricer though...). But I only want them to some on when the doors are open. So I'm trying to locate a wire that only has power to it at that time.
