does anyone know wtere i can find out the length ov my drive shaft i have a v6 with a 2 piece and i want to put a 1 piece in i have someone with a 1 piece from his 95 v8 camaro will it fit?

 

im pretty sure it will fit, i know someone who has done it, but he didnt tell me the specifics.

 

With the suspension loaded, car on the ground or a drive on lift, Insert the slip yoke in the trans leaving about 1" to 1.5" gap between the seal and the u joint ears to alow for movement. Measure from the center of the bearing cap on the trans to the center of the bearing cap on the pinion yoke. this is your installed length. compare that with the shaft you want to use, if it's within +/- 1/8" and has the same spline as your trans then it will fit. I have done this mod at work and had to trim the carrier bearing mount for extra clearance.
