Default deeper darker hole

Ok I just finished an intake gasket set and valve cover set change out. I also changed out the cam sensor. When I start the car it runs....but I have a loud clunking noise I haven't located..but narrowed to passenger side. and as soon as I touch the throttle the car burps through the throttle body..if I keep going with the throttle the burping stops and rpms kick up. Thoughts or ideas?

Because if you have the valves adjusted too tight, they won't be closing all the way. Cylinder pressure will get forced back out a non-sealing intake valve, making the engine pop or wheeze from the T.B. Same goes for the exhaust valves causing a similar side effect, just out the other end.

thank you for the reassurance..i was thinking the same thing just wasn't sure...is there a way to test which is the troublesome one without pulling both valve covers? Maybe pull a plug or something?

Compression test should show zero of very low compression. but I am not sure that is easier then pulling the covers.

I can get to the drivers side easy enough..that would save one valve cover...on a side note..

On one of the injectors right above the rubber o-ring is a black band..it is missing on one of the injectors, is that an issue?
