Default Dead V6

My neighbor has a 2000 v6 Camaro. He installed a new crate motor. He also put in a new cpu or whatever we are calling the brain box these days. He gets absolutely no fire when he turns it over. Any ideas? I don't play with Camaros normally and a V6 to boot is out of my wheelhouse. Any help would be appreciated, he is a pretty good neighbor and I would like to help him out. Thanks everybody.

Should be easy to find. Is the security light on? Could be a bad ICM or crank sensor bad connector or broken ground.

If he just installed the motor did he get everything connected. No one can tell what is wrong. Go the a manual section at the bottom of the main page, download the 2000 manual and fire the "NO spark" in the no start section and follow the tree.

No I don't believe it was. And many thanks to everyone. I hope to look at this car this weekend. Been busy installing the SHOT show in Las Vegas.
