Son and I are looking to do a custom build and are only wanting a bare block for 2000 Camaro 3.8L v6. Anyone know werer I can get one? All I have found are used complete engines or remanufactured at crazy prices! TIA

 

The block its self is the same as the SII and SIII engines GM put in many cars. I think the last one was 2009. You use to be able to find below 50,000 miles FWD version for less then $500.

I just searched local yards and found a 2004 Buick with 65,000 miles for $500
