crashed my car :(
It sucks so much but sadly it's true. It happened tonight. I was making a u-turn and another car got in my way so I couldn't see the cars coming so I inchedup a little to see and a Lexus SUV clipped my front quarter panel which was enough impact that it spun me around, ripped my bumper cover off, twisted the bumper itself, all my headlights are busted and the engine won't start, it'll turn over, but won't fire. Oil was leaking everywhere. The cop mentioned to me that some cars have a fuel cut-off switch which cuts off the fuel pump when in a crash so fuel won't leak. I was wondering if you guys know if Imay haveone and where would it be? The damage is pretty bad, I had to get it towed home. I may just save up for a z28 instead of getting it fixed. [sm=boohoo.gif]
wait a sec ur gonna tell me u spent a ton on those rims and u have a v6!!! wtf lol that to me is a waste! i spent 500 on my rims an they look alot better then most. i cant believe u would spend over a grand on rims an have a v6 that just shocks me as much as hearing about ur accident and by the way sry to hear that car was nice but didnt know it wasa v6 that shocks me !!!
damn that sucks.. Another 97 V6 gone.. this may be kinda early.. but. theres a few things i need for mine if you end up parting it out..but yeah, im done with the insensitivity.. that really blows. i felt like pure crap when i hit that curb, i can only imagine how you feel..
I looked under the hood today and the engine and components look to be in perfect shape. It should be able to start, but I don't wanna try now because all the oil and water I lost. The rims and tires are in perfect shape, not bent at all. Yes I spent over a grand on the rims so what? The car ran good has low miles on it and I just wanted to make it look better. As far as parting it out, I want to get some estimates to see how much I'm dealing with. In the meantime, I'm looking for a 4 cyl car that's in good shape and does great on gas. I most likely will just save up for a z28....particurlarly a 98-02 one.
sorry about the loss. i wrecked mine a few months ago, but was lucky and came out with only scratches(on the car of course, who cares about me, i love my car.) i have a v6, and if i were in your situation, just sell it as is, someone will buy it, and use that money on a z28. don't get me wrong, love my v6, but when i get out of school this year, i'm gettin a job and savin for a z28. should have it in a few months.
