You could try a garage that sells used tires, but in all honesty, it's worth buying a good, reliable set of tires. Tires can go anywhere from $80.00 a piece to well over $200.00. I think when I purchased my last set for my car it set me back roughly $400.00, which is exceptionally reasonable for 235/55R16s

My tires are $275 for the rears, $225 for the fronts[:@]

Around me there are used tire shops, that sell good used tires for really cheap

235/55/16s in Falken 512Ziex model are $80 apiece at www.vulcantire.com

Then you get to pay shipping and install

I have run these tires on my Fiero and Cavalier, and they're really nice for the price

*edit for spelling

Currently have Toyo Proxes 275/40-17 I believe. Love hearing the rubber grip the road especially around turns. Had Falkens on before and they were horrible. If your tires aren't completly bald and you aren't running a high risk of one of them blowing out I would suggest to save your money until you can afford a good set of new tires. I suppose if your current tires are really bad that you could get some used ones to hold you over. A set of good tires makes a big difference, and cheaping out efffects your safety, the safety of others, and your wallet.
