i have a 95 3.4 v6 and my oil pressure is at zero. i want to change my oil pump and filter. i know a little about motors but ive never change a oil pump before. can someone explain to me how to change the oil pump and filter.

 

Are you sure its your oil pump and not your gauge or sender?

 

you have to remove the oil pan via pulling or jacking the engine or dropping the front end ... depending on the model. once the pan is off it's just a couple bolts. depending on the model and engine you may have to remove the timing chain cover to get the front oil pan gasket to seal properly. if your not pumping oil your engine will make an awful racket. that racket is your engine destroying itself. no oil pressure = big bucks. Sick
