Default carburated 350 or 350 tpi in a 95 camaro

Now what would I have to change, It is a 95 3.4 camaro and I know this ls1 and lt1 stuff gets tricky. So I've heard that is a lot easier to do it the carburated 350 or tpi. I know I will need a different trans and what kind I do not not (350 turbo??maybe). Do I need to change my tach or do any electrical things if so how hard is this to do and has anyone had a success? O yea and what about my rear end. If it is a very difficult project then I will choose to just leave it. Thanks a lot only reason for this is I could get a 350 for next to nothing.

It's difficult. For one, the distributor is on the back of the engine. Look under your hood, and imagine it back there. For a carb, you'd have to modify the cowl (no room). None of your gauges would work. It would just be a royal pain to get it all to function correctly.
