You mean as far as spark goes? I use on of these on my plug wires... Lisle LIS19380 Spark Tester Indicator

This only checks to make sure spark is making it through the plug wires, though. You have to pull the plugs to check them.

Okay, so I cannot get to my spark plugs at all. Thanks GM...BUT, I unplugged my MAF sensor and tried to start my car and it started right up and seemed to idle a bit better. Maybe a MAF Sensor??

the motor will run on a set program if it senses the maf is failing or missing. thing is most all the sensors are out of the loop and not being used either.

Did yet another test. The camaro would start up, then almost immediately die out after a few pathetic sputters (that was when the MAF sensor was plugged in). I unplugged the MAF sensor and the camaro started up perfectly (multiple times) and idled smoothly. I even got in the car and drove it a couple miles on the highway with the sensor unplugged and it honestly ran like the first day I bought it...Guessing it's a faulty MAF sensor...any thoughts?

Just bought a brand new MAF sensor, installed it, and tried starting the car 3 different times with the new sensor. It spit and sputtered like before. I unplugged the brand new MAF sensor and AGAIN, it started up first time every time and ran like a gem...wtf?

Plugs and wires are to the left and basically underneath the motor, correct?
