can i turbo my 3.4

Default can i turbo my 3.4

i have a 3.4 v6 camaro and i was wondering if i could put a single rear mount turbo on it with out any major modification.

Not without ending up with a ton of metal shavings in your oil pan. My understanding is the bottom end of those engines are pretty weak. Performance is not something you're likely to get much of. Sorry man :/

without major modification..no. and for all intents and purposes no in general. get it out of your head now and save yourself some time..

thanks for the advice. ill prob go get a 3.8 and build that up because i really wanna keep a v6 but make it a fast one

There are still a lot of options for the 3.4..but i dont know of any really..normal omes like cai and exhaust..

i already got exaust on it i have flowmaster. but i want it faster.

i have a 3.4 also and ive been told that if you get new better heads it will boost your performance quite a bit. a cold air intake or jus a aftermarket air intake should also help some. to be honest im not sure what else

there is a turbo for the 3.4 and there has been some great success with it even with stock intervals...but you're looking at around $5000 for it...go to http://www.force-fed-fabrications.com/ and check it out...
