In the future, try searching this kind of thing before asking it... this one of the most common 6er question on here..
Think of it this way, how hard is it to sell your car and buy a Z28? not hard at all.
How hard is it to install a 5.7 in a 3.8? ALOT harder than selling the 3.8 for a Z28... Its not worth it.

Hey Spartan. Leave the moderator work to the moderators. Just cause you spend 60% of your day/night here, doesnt mean that you can give people a hard time.

yeah, it is a lot of work to do, usually more than what it's worth. Someday when that new crate lsx engine comes out, that'll go in my sixer, everything will need to be replaced anyway. But that's years in the future, I'm not even gonna think about doing it until college is done.

very simply
your gonna need
the engine itself
a tranny assuming you manual
wireing harness gauge cluster
a rear end
unless you have a donar car just sitting around its not really worth it bud....
