camaro quitting, then starting after cools.
Hi,
I am new to the forum but have found it interesting and hopefully helpful. I have a 98 v6 camaro. It has been running fine but about every couple weeks, it will not start after I turn it off then go to start it again. I have to leave it for several hours, then come back and it will start up and run fine for a while. Yesterday however, it died while it was running and when I went back to start it up, it would not start at all. One time a guy pushed the little valve on the gas rail, then squirted just a brief shot of starting fluid in the breather and it started up right after it died. Anyone who could give me some advice on this matter, I would really, really appreciate it. Thanks, Slowbreak at the present.

I have not checked the fuel pressure but I will do that. Thanks guys. Is the fuel pump in the tank or is it external? Also, is there a fuel filter that might be giving me the problem and if so, where is that located? Sure appreciate the ideas.
