Camaro donor
Hello to all,
I have the opprotunity to purchase a 94 Camaro for real cheap. It only has minor dents. The engine and automatic run fine but it is a V6. I don't exactly like this body style but I really like vintage cars and trucks. My question is, should I buy this car just for the parts? For instance, can the car be parted out and used in for example in a 56 Chevy truck? or 1964 Nova?
I was hoping to maybe transplant the subframe and suchif it won't be too exspensive or time consuming. How about the rearend? Interior is nice also.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven

RE: Camaro donor
Isense a bad fate for that camaro[] ,how cheap is the car? try selling it and making a profit first, there are a lot of people that would love that car and not chop it up, just cause its a v-6 doesnt mean its slow, they are still quick cars, even faster than some v-8's.
as for parts should be plenty that would work ive seen a couple camaro's with the v-6 tranny and rear end with a 350 V8 hit 14's on the track.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll just resale it. I can get it for less than the price of one of those Heidt's front subframes for hot rods, but I guess it's just not worth the time. I've been leaning toward a resale anyways.
