Yep, I plan on getting a comp ARH sometime...

Forgive me if I forgot, but you dont have all the bolt ons yet right? If not, definetly get those first

While your doing a cam you might want stronger pushrods, lifters, etc and a good tune

It's up to you...

you could put a cam in there as is, but if it was me (this is what I'm going to do)...complete your exhaust (headers, cat, s-pipe), 1-piece aluminum LS1 driveshaft...

you'll need the cam install kit, and I would get some comp pushrods...however if your tearing apart everything, then I would do all you could while your in there, ported heads and intake if you have the money, lifters, etc and then you'll want tuning software or a mail-in tune

Your exhaust is restricted by it's weakest point, go complete for the best results obviously

Sure the cat-back will help a little, but it's still getting restricted at the manifolds, stock cat, 2.25" spipe etc

Driveshafts are like $125, check out ebay or ls1tech classifieds, very easy to do

the driveshaft will not fall out when you take the cam out...

the driveshaft is the long shaft that goes from the end of the tranny to the rear end, simply undo 4 bolts, the mid-section harness, and it should slide out of the tranny, very easy job to swap in an aluminum driveshaft.

As for cam, you will need to tear apart the engine a little, I'd wait until you get a little more comfortable and do some more research about the subject
