cai installation question

so i ordered one of those ebay intakes. its from chrome intakes, but i cant seem to make it fit. the bent tube just wont fit. im not sure if i need to cut it down or not. has anyone else tried one of these and if so, how did you install it?

it was hitting the radiator, but i just decided to cut it about a half inch. its working now, but its very tight

I think the ebay intakes are fine, I've got one too. I didn't see the high cost of an k&n intake worth it. A tubes a tube.

exactly. im short on money right now. the ebay one was 75 including shipping, plus it has a k&n filter on it. it works great and sounds so bad*** lol
