I am curious as to what a 3.8L would sound like built with performance parts internally. Would cam and heads do the trick, or would I have to go in to the bottom end to make it sound more like a V8?

I'm estimating, if done, it would produce upwards of around 300hp for a fully built 3.8L.

The only true way to sound like a V8 is to get the actual thing, but I was wondering if there was a way to satisfy the sound of a V8 without having to buy one and keep mine.
