Brake/ABS INOP light question
Ok, I have a '98 V6 Camaro that I recently replaced all the brakes/tires on. Now, when I am driving down the road my brake/ABS INOP light will come on. I have talked to some people and think that it might be air in the brake lines. Does anyone else have another opinion? If it is air in the brake lines then how do I fix it?

RE: Brake/ABS INOP light question
Wheel speed sensors are sender devices used for reading the speed of the vehicle's wheel rotation

Btw I dont think your tire size matters, because the computer reads the revolutions of the wheel, it doesnt care about the size. I think you have a wheel speed sensor failure

RE: Brake/ABS INOP light question
If you have mismatched sized tires then your ABS will have a problem. Sure the wheel speed sensor senses rotations, but one could rotate only once in a mile, the other could rotate a million times in a mile. So in short, size DOES matter...

but yea from what I read it doesn't, but it wont hurt to go back to the stock tires and see if the problem still persists.

RE: Brake/ABS INOP light question
Well I can't go back to stock, I gave my tires to the place that mounted and balanced my new tires so I'd have to go out and buy brand new tires. Is there any way to adjust the speed sensor?
