Bosch Iridium Plugs
I entered this contest for a free set of Bosch Iridium Plugs. I have a 1989 3800 V6 Camaro I purchased used this last summer. I have been sort of let down with its power. People will sometimes tease and ask why I didn’t just get a LS1 V8.
I was chosen to receive a set of six new plugs which arrived in the mail a week or so after I was notified I was chosen.
After having a very interesting time of switching out my original AC Delco plugs (I say interesting because if you have ever changed the plugs in a 3800 Camaro you will know, your arm turns out looking like a pink piece of taffy with nice strawberry lines here and there once you are done) I took her down our quiet little street to pull out on the highway. I swear, I had a hard time not spinning the tires. The first house on the end of our street probably gave me a dirty look for the loud squeal that I left pulling out.
The next weekend my wife and I went out to our favorite restaurant. When leaving I asked my wife if I could “light it up” in the back parking lot. She said, “go ahead”. So I did! Holly crap! A smoke cloud like you would not believe was left behind and I rolled past the front restaurant winds with my thumb up in the air hanging out the window.
Thanks Bosch for the free plugs and so renewed horses.
