Default ngk or ac delco iridium plugs?

well i drove 60 highway miles and the needle went from full to 3/4. no revs higher than 2500 rpm. so im going for to do a tune up. im defintily going for iridiums, but some places im seeing .059 gap, some .06 gap and some .04 gap, which one is really the right one for these engines?

Both plugs should work just fine in your engine. The OEM plugs were AC Delco made by Denso and they were Iridium. Your Gap is listed on a sticker in your engine bay. Follow that and you should be OK, if you dont have the sticker your local AP store can look it up for you.

I read that the NGK plugs perform pretty well, but the AC Delco last the longest.

While I love BWD for OEM replacment wires I dont like them for the LS1. The truck LS engines are taller than the LS1 is and the BWD wires are cut for the truck engine. While they do work they are too long and dont look good.
