With the boltons...
Hi, I'm considering the purchase of an 01 Camaro, or an 00 Firebird, with the V6.
With the boltons listed in the 3.8 modification guide, how much improvement are we looking at? Will the HP and torque equal that of the Z28s?
I was thinking of adding the headers, intake, catback, 8.5mm wires, and new plugs.

RE: With the boltons...
You could easily get a Z28 for the same price, and probably less miles, my buddy has bought (2) 01,02 Z28's in the last 6 months, the first a 2000 Z28 66kmilesfor $6,500 at an auction, sold for $7,500 and bought an 02 Z28 60k miles with z06 rims SS hood, and a body kit allready on the car for $7,200.
it takes a lot of money to get a 3.8 as fast as an LT1 or LS1, and with the money for mods you can make an LS1 or LT1 scream.

V6 saves money on gas and car insurance.
If you dont mind those, get a V8.
Not to mention, any mods you make to the V6 that you'll get without telling your insurance may cause problems if you were to get hit by someone or have an accident. And with the mods that you do tell the insurance, they'll boost your primiums.
Damn, they suck.
