back hatch

Default back hatch

i want to tint my rear window but i dont wanna do it upside down. is there a clip that i can unclip so i dont have to cut the wires for my back hatch?

if you are doing it yourself and have never done tint before dont even try it. Ive been doing tint for about 4 months at work and i still do not dare to try my own camaro.

When I got my quote for my back window it was a 2 day process by a guy who's done it for 30 years. The multiple curves makes it very challenging.

ive tinted a bunch of windows its just that the curves in the back window r wicked and it would b easier on the ground.. i got the front two done already. so is there a clip for the back window?

Yes you need to remove the plastic around the window on the hatch and you'll find the harness and clips there. I'm pretty sure it's all on the drivers side.

Good luck, 2 days is too long the guy i had do it took only bout 2 hours but he has been doin it for years.

The only reason why it takes him 2 days is he gets it done the first day then lets it sit in the shop until the second day and makes sure everything is sealed nicely to prevent Any bubbling. I've had quotes for 3 hours to do all windows but that back window you want done right otherwise it'll peel a year later.

Also the back glass is huge to lay a solid piece of tint is going to be hard and DON'T try to cut it on a defrost line the po of my car did that and it looks like crap
