Hey all, I have a 99 3.8L V6 Camaro Automatic and i am just dying to put a 5 speed manuel in it. How difficult would this be. What years can i grab a manuel trans from to fit my 99. Having a place to do it along with a good mechanic is not a problem as i work at a Car inspection facility and i have a GM certified mechanic there that can help me. What all will i need. Is there a kit you can buy that has all the parts for the conversion. Give me your thoughts. Also if anyone knows of a place to buy used transmissions for camaro or what not on the web LMK. Thanks

It is doable, but a lot of work is involved. Should have gotten a 5 speed in the first place.
