I was looking at mine today and it has like a little hook thing at the end is that correct. I have never seen one like that before. I can take a pic so you know what im talking about if that will help.

Is the auto trans dipstick suposed to be bent at the end? It liks like a lil hook. I have never seen that before on any other car haha.

 

I'm changing my spark plugs today so while I'm out there I'll take a look at my dipstick for you lol.

Edit: Yes it does have a hook on the end. Feel better now? lol.

 

its twisted but no hook.

 

I've seen some that have a split towards the end, where one side curves up and the other curves down. It's probably to make it harder to stab someone, or so it will raise a good welt when you whack someone with it for asking goofy questions!
Actually, I don't know why they're like that.

 

nice long flexable flat and small... with a hook on the end...use for getting into car with keys locked inside or case of beer. just cant use it one your own. lol.
