alternator

ok i gotta get the alterbator off my 1995 3.4L camaro. i dont seenm to know how to get the drivebelt off. i dont no how to release the tnsioner pulley? any help would be good

I use a crescent wrench, like a 12 or larger, put it on the part that looks like it would go there and twist. You can also use a breaker bar, but it slips off easily.

yea it turns out that the part that i would need to twist is gone....so i gotta get anew one, so im assuming thats why i had trouble removing the alternator. which is prettyu easy so remove.

Yup. I would guess a new pulley tensioner isnt too much cash either.

yea...went to a local junkyeard...they had a real nice one/....got it all for $25...not to bad of a deal...wanted $58 at the dealership
