Cold Air Intakes for 3.8L's are significantly cheaper on ebay when compared to SLP and K&N. Is the performance the same or it is worth the extra money to go with SLP?

In that case, if you get the full cold air intakes from eBay (from throttle body to fenderwell), they're about the same as aftermarket. If you want a cheap SLP, look in the For Sale/Trade section. Someone had a used one for $125. Pretty good deal.

 

ya go with Ebay get a chep intake and a good filter i got mine for my 97 for like 60 bucks with a Kn filter works great

yea i just bought one off of ebay from chrome intakes. ill let ya know how it works out.
