Default accident :(

i was on my way home from work the other night and its been really cold and i guess apparently icy. i didnt know it was cold enough for ice..im working all day so i have no idea whats going on outside. well i turn not even going fast and my back end swings way far out and im now headed straight into a curb and a Carls JR....i get my car to turn the other way and i end up going across the road up over the curb and into the mud/bushes im alright so thats good but im stuck. so i crawl out the passenger door and some cops come and there a**holes to me but whats new. at that time everything still ran and started up fine. i get the tow truck out there (AAA roadside is the best money ever spent) and he has me start it up and put it in reverse to pull it out and as he does that a few feet later my car dies and now my emergency brake is shot. right then i tried to start it again and it just starts to die a second later. he tows it to his tow place and today i go down to check it out. my driver side tires and rims are shot. luckly no body damage like dents or anything..just scrathes but they dont even seem to be deep ones. and today my car starts up fine no problem...but still no E brake now. Im getting generic rims and new wheels put on it and allignment. ice and rear wheel drive suck =/ anyone know the best place to get Camaro rims? mine where the stock ones from 95. but i do like the model of the ones from 98+....anyone know what brand and stuff makes ones like that?

I can't help you with the starting issue, but anyway, I'm glad to hear you're alright. I took a nice "slide" in my Camaro yesterday as well, albeit it wasn't as dramatic as yours. "Black ice," as they put it.

It doesn't surprise me that the cops were asses to you. They can't help it. Anyway, they probably figured you were "hot rodding," which caused your mishap.

Check the salvage yards in you neck of the woods. If they don't have what you are looking for, they can usually get it from another place as they all are linked via computer. Their prices are usually better than new.
