Noticed today that my daughters 98 feels a little squirrly in the rear end going around curves. It has kind of a floating feel like if you are sitting in the lake on a boat. Don't see anything out of the oridinary when I look under there, nor does anything feel loose. I don't drive this car on a daily basis, so I am not use to the normal feel of it. I am guessing it could use a new set of rear shocks but the feeling when driving is not a feeling you get with my past experience of bad shocks. It is more of a side to side motion. Sway bar bushings or control arm maybe?

 

check the rear sway bar end links.. If they are missing or broken, that will call the rear of the car to float. Also could be dangerous in wet road conditions..
