I scanned through this section and didn't see exactly what I am looking for. I am sure this subject has already been beat to --- though, sorry.

I am looking for just a filter that attaches on just before the airbox. I don't want an actual cold air, aka CAO, aka cold aqua intake, it rains a lot here.

I am assuming this can be used on the V6 as well. There isn't any difference that I know of. Of course I may be wrong, I often am...

Im going to move this to the 4th gen V6 section. You should get some help there.

You could search for a Volant intake, don't think they made a V6 one. Or perhaps a Spectre?

Get the SLP imo, very cheap at $120, easy to install and a noticable increase. Don't even worry about rain or puddles, unless you drive your car into a lake, you'll be fine.
