check your service number on the ecm, i found one that matched mine on e-bay its for a 1997 buick park ave w/. a 3.8l but the part numbers match up, all you would have to do is change out your prom. like i said same part number as mine and i have a 1997 camaro 3.8l 5spd. that is is you are just wanting a direct replacement. the e-bay auction is http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...963&rd=1,1the price is $35 buy it know and $12 for shipping if a replacement is what you want, but you need to check your part number against it. i would say yours is the same as mine though both being a 97 3.8l 5spd camaro. i hope this helps. if your just wanting a performance upgrade and nothing wrong with your pcm try hypertech or someone like that.

On 94s & later theEEPROM is not replaceable. If you are looking for the latest updates, you can go toa GM dealer, orfind someone with a TECH2 tooland get the PCM reflashed.
