Hello im new and i not that good with cars.

My problem is my Camaro will not start, i had it just sitting there, and would would start it twice a week, just to make sure something wouldnt mess up while i had it just sitting there. Well, i went on vacation for 2 weeks and i come back and it wont ever turn over. i try jumping my car and it cranks just a little bit and still nothing. I wouldnt think it is the battery because its a brand new one. i had a new alternator and convertor put in it before the inspection went out on it, which was in september 09, (thats why it was just sitting there). it may be the spark plug, but im not good with cars, so any help would be great.

Its a 3.4L if you need to know.

 

charge the battery and clean the battery connections. wire brush the heck out of the posts on the battery and the connectors on the wire ends.

 

WATCH YOUR EYES. That acid will cause you much grief for several days if you get it in your eyes.

Get the starter tested.
