Default 95, 3.4 rear end

just a quick question on my 95's rear end. I was wondering if it needs friction addtive for it? I am not real familiar with posi rear ends and I dont know how to spot one by looking at it.
I droppd the cover yesterday to change the oil in it, and besides seeing the usual spider gears and ring and pinion, there was a additional gear that was very fine toothed on the driver side of center.
If on of youguys could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

ETA- what happens i you have a posi and dont add friction modifier?

Unless you have RPO G80 Limited slip rear, you are highly unlikely to have one. Almost all 3.4 V6s did not have Limited slip rear (posi to you). Unless you saw some thing like this picture, just change the fluid and forget about the additive.
