That might be maintaining it, but there is more to treating a Vehicle properly than just changing fluids.

I can assure that the Majority of Camaro owners on this forum do not abuse there vehicles with Constant Clutch dumps and Burnouts.

We play nicely

At the frequency that you floor it and use the term so enthusiastically... I'm inclined to believe you drive like an idiot. Learn to drive before you kill yourself.

ye i understand i just couldn't think of the word acceleration at the time plus my grammar wasn't good either.lol but ye when i first got it i kinda abused it to much for having 190k, i have slowed down a lot though.

so replace iac any other ideas of rebuilding it before i mod it or sell it or help fix the slow acceleration or is it just because its a tired engine. i get all your points about drive safe and don't abuse such a good car(mostly above all its one of my favorites

Start a new thread if you have a new question...its rude to hi-jack a thread like this, especially in multiple postings.

It may be tired, have you done a tune up? plugs, wires, filters? Do you have good compression? (easy to check when plugs are out) Seriously though, the 3.4 is not a rocket sled and its not the most durable engine under abuse - the 3.8 and 5.7 are both much better in both regards. I would get a Z28 for $3k, sell your V6 for a grand or so, and use that grand to fix up the Z28 in good working order.

yes i have done a tune up about 2 months ago plugsplug wires, abd 1 coil was bad and about4 months ago i did an oil change with Castrol syntec 10w-30and filter, and about 4 months ago a fuel filter. i dont know about my comppressin but at 2400rpm online it says i should have 45-60 iol pressure and i have about 30 at 2400rpm.
