i have 3,000 dollars and what can and should i do to upgrade this engine it has 198k miles on it 5spd and when got it at 192k it ran like a raped ape peeled out really easy fish tailing and hammering the gas shifting from 1st to 3rd it pulled a lot and now its just all around sluggish i had a series of problems such as clogged cat, messud up a lot clogged injectors, intake dirty, did a motervac system cleaning, egr problem(havent replaced egr yet just blanked it off), replaced fuel filter, fuel pump, and it makes a noise when smashing on it(like when you put your top teeth on ur bottum lip and make a v sound) also some morning i smash it and it almost wants to die others it takes right off, first system clean the clogged cat now i just did a seafoam clean and right before i did this i could barely peel out now i can 3k and drop clutch and hammer it but before i got 24mpg now i just get 20mpg and after all of this i jsut put cai on but before all of this i had just put a cherry bomb on . put cai on, and cut cat off and put cherry bomb on. any help with problems of what i should do?? or mods i should do??? thanks

 

Apparently you like to beat on cars instead of talking care of them. Beating on a 3.4 is not going to make it run like a raped ape, all it is going to do is break it. As for your problems, Sea Foam ain't going to help much. The cheapest thing would be a rebuilt engine, or if you can find it, a low mileage one out of a wreck.

 

perhaps plugs,wires,pcv valve,iac valve,vacuum leak etc.check compression.192k is alot of miles to start modding an engine.might want to look around for another engine that you could mod and have ready in case current engine fails.for $3000 around here you could buy a decent Z-28 and keep your car to save miles on the Z,lol

 

oh ia lso did oulgs and wires 1 coil was bad, iac a code popped upso i need to replace that. i havent checked the pcv or a leak or compression check how would i do these?

um screw a Honda, i don't drive like a retard if i did i would get worse then 20mpg!!!!duh as it is now wiht problems or 23mpg before!!!! and i rarely do OK my tires had a 1/4 tread when i got the 10k ago on the car and their still legal. i know how to drive, but that the clearest way to tell how the car is acting with its problems. otherwise if i drove like a granny doing 10 under i wouldn't be able to find out my problems i have obd2 ecu with obd1 wiring so it cant always give the problems. plus with 197k i dont think im driving like a retard, kinda high miles

 

i treat my vehicle properly ive changed all the fluids and have done a tune up and full inspection( i don't back yard billy it). and i treat it properley and so your telling me you havent ever ever peeled out...yea ok
