Default '94 headliner removal

How would you go about removing the headliner yourself? A guy said he can replace it for 300 or about 150 if i remove it myself. I wouldnt mind saving 150 bucks so i was wondering how to do it myself.

You'll have to remove the sun visors, A-pillar trim, the rear dome light, and the big plastic pieces by the back seats. Then I think all it takes is popping out that circular piece in the middle and you're good to go.

Might want to get a second set of hands to help hold it to keep it from bending down and breaking. I removed mine a few months back by myself, (t tops) and it was tough to try to keep it from flexing and breaking. I found it easier to take it out of the car through the rear hatch. I paid $65 to get mine recovered with me removing and re installing.

This sounds so complicated.

doing what yourself? No "kit" should be needed for removing the headliner, just a couple of screwdrivers.

Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse you with that link. I just posted it in hopes that it would help you to understand how to remove it. I would not recommend you do recover it yourself unless you can get the right adhesive and material. I paid someone to do mine.
