Default 94 Bird - 3.4L Air Intake?

Is the air intake worth replacing with a CAI? I have the filter box that's in the driver's side front down near the wheel.. what CAI systems will fit down there? I'm really just looking for a few more MPG, not power gains as I know with a V6 that's kind of a long shot.

TL;DR: Is the stock intake worth replacing?

Absolutely! The 3.4 air intake is super restrictive. If you replace it with a CAI, like I did, you will see 2-4mpg increase. Here's a link to the CAI that I bought.

Here is a picture of it in my Camaro. It will fit the exact same in your Firebird.

No problem, you didn't get caught up in the tornado activity did you? I feel for all those that did, so devistating.

No but I live like 2 hours from Joplin, MO, which is completely leveled. The same storm went over us and hit them. I got so lucky!
