I reread the above. I think what he is saying is that all the engine sensor plug it? Does he mean the engine sensor plug in from the 94's computer? Cause ther is no way thats going to work i don't thing they even have the same firing order. I would not be surprise if everthing pluged in to the the 96 computers since it came with the motor. The problems will be all the connection that are not there. Like when the computer trys to talk to the ABS during startup and it aint there.

The OBD1 3.4 computer won't work with the 3.8 at all. If the car that is getting the swap has no form of ABS, then the pcm will throw several abs codes unless it's tuned out (and I don't see anything in hp tuners to solve that). To do the swap he will need to change a lot of stuff, basically taking one car and putting everything in another.

Thats what we are talking about. Do some research on OBD2 computer systems (your 96 computer). The reason we think you are going to have problems is in 1996 all the car manufactures had to go to a centralized computer system. All the other moduals, Vats,ABS,Climate control, Air bag even your gages can all be connected to thru the OBD2 computer. Your 94 does not have this systems. So what happens when your 96 computer turns on and can not see these things? I would think you 96 Computer is going to be real upset about it. But I don't know. I also I have no idea how your going to get your speedo to work. I am not sure if this will put you computer in Limp home mode or not.

the speedo is fine all gauges and everything works, SES light is NOT on, but the ABS is. Security light stays on for like5 seconds then goes away. the fuel pump does not turn on though. under the drivers seat i found a gray wire that turns the fuel pump on and i wired taht to the fuse box's IGNITION fuse. so now every time i turn on the ignition, the fuel pump will come on. now the injectors are not injecting fuel into the cylinder. yes i shecked for spark, and the plug dosent smell like fuel so i know its the injectors. the computer is fine as far as everything pluging into the under dash wiring. radio works, lights work, brakes lights work. its just the injectors taht are keeping this from running. am i missing something?

Does it start with choke cleaner sprayed in the throttle body? FYI The vats system will shut down both the spark and the fuel pump if it detects an error.

Check engine light off and no spark is not a good thing. If its not the VATs system then the Computer does not even know there is a problem, Life would be a lot easier if the computer knew what was wrong.

Do not hot wire your fuel pump. The system that is in place not only runs the pump it makes sure you never have 50-PSI flame thrower.

Default its doable

The fun of purchasing a motor is purchasing someone elses problems probably a dumb question but did you check your fuel filter and do you have fuel pump for the 3.8 you gotta determine whether gas is getting to the rail or not maybe fuel pressure regulator
I have seen several swaps to put obd2 motors in older cars its doable but not easy
