are those good gears for a 3.4 auto?? and will there be a big differnce??

Those are good gears to go with. Though, unless you have a limited slip differential, all your going to accomplish with those gears, is make it easier to spin the one wheel.

if you're saying gears will make the rear a posi, no they won't.

3.73 gears are a popular upgrade, but like stan said, it's goofy to do all that work for a one-legger. You'll need an LSD out of a V8 f-bod or y87 sixxer, or buy one from summit (they are not cheap). I can't seem to remember on the 3.4's, but you'll have to correct the speedo for the gear change. On a 3.8, that's done with a tune, but I can't recall how you correct it on an OBD1 car.

Music's right you cannot correct the speedo with a tune on the 3.4s you have to buy a little plastic piece that has different sized teeth that goes in your gearbox somewhere...not completely sure how it works but found them online once...
