since they dont sell higher flow fuel injectors for the 98-01 3.8L
any 1 know if its possible to take the fuel rail and intake manifold from a 1995-1997 3.8L and covert the wiring harness to fit??

i changed it lol
but yea i know they r same coils same plugs like 90% of the engine r the same, but on a 97 3.8L you can upgrade to bigger injectors, on mine u cant, i tried cuz i thought they wer the same but the injector is too big to fit the fuel rail or the manifold.

The lower intake manifold is the same? I have a 02 lower intake on my 96 with 96 injectors in it. If I remember right I even looked it up and it is the same part number from GM. Have you looked at the L67 injectors?

what fuel rail do you have on your car?
the injectors i had didnt fit, the diameter of the injectors were too large for the rail and for the ubtake manifold

The rail is off the 96. If I remember right I could have used the 02 injectors but I would have to cut and splice the wiring harness so I just used the 96 setup. Not knowing the harness was different I install the 02 injectors and I had to tear it back apart to remove them once I saw I could not use the wiring harness.

I double checked the Part numbers in the GM parts manual. It lists the same lower intake 95-02, Are you sure you had the right injectors?

yea i had the right ones. these are the injectors i ended up replacing my stock ones with, still not what i wanted tho. http://www.jegs.com/i/Accel/110/74620L/10002/-1
mine look like this, not the fat injectors off the earlier engines. but yea i ordered these and they fit. before i orderd injectors for a 97 one year off and same engine i thought they would fit, but they were the fat injectors and didnt fit my fuel rail. what part number do you have?

Not sure but I think the injectors for the supercharged 3.8L will fit our engines. They have a higher flow rate and I have heard they fit the Camaro manifolds.
