all mustangs with the horse/ with a rectangle down the middle ,as a emblam are v6's, ...Gts, Cobras,Saleens, are all v8...
i dont think you'd have much of a problem, but i'm not too familier with the 3.4L camaros, my 99 v6 (3.8L)..crushes v6 mustangs, i can even hold my own against some GT's(mainly early 90's GT's), which doesnt say much considering the 90's mustang GT's only have like 240 -250 hp stock, and my car has about 225 ..
what years teh mustang?... both auto? manual?.. and what mods does he have compared to what u have ?

it might be a close race or the stang may walk all over your camaro. I have heard that the 3.4 puts out 190 hp and if the stang is a 4.0 you might lose depending the mods. but race it and tell us how it goes over

hookup your 3.4 with cold & exhaust , thenm tune it... I had an 93 Trans-am , 97 3.8 firebird , & 94 3.4 camaro... 3.4 is slow as hell but easy to hook and see the effect of labor to get it there

Whoa. Let's not go overboard. A 3.4L puts out 190ish if it has the aluminum head swap done to it.
A 3.4L will take on a 3.8L from the early to mid 90s (150 HP), but newer 3.8L's and the 4.0L's are a reach (to put it nicely) with a 3.4L...

ive got a 94 3.4L camaro and i walk all over the ****stangs around here. i recently jus beat a 85 chevy short-wheel-base with a 350 bored 60 over. his dad jus spent like 8,000 on jus the motor by like 2 car links.

You can beat him easy my friend was talking mad stuff about how his 99 v6 stang would take the maro but we got to the corner and i didn't kno if he would go but he did so he had about a car link headstart and i still smoked i got a 3.4 94 no mods
