3.4L Which Plugs and Wires
Theres probably already a post in the forums that I couldnt find, but what I wanted to know is if there is a big difference in changing out the plugs and wires for nicer ones on 3.4, I dont know anything about the plugs/wires
Im not sure if the ones I have now are stock or not as Im the 3rd owner of the car, my car has 70k miles on it, i checked the plugs and the gaps are fine, I plan on driving it for a few months early spring and summer than selling it and getting a v8 camaro, but for the short time Im using it and to spare the next owner the trouble, is it worth switching over to some taylor spiro pros for wires?
and which plugs are good without spending a ridiculous amount on wires like nology, I was thinking mainly whats the performance/life difference between the iridium type plugs and the triple platinums...
other than the gaps being at .045 if im not going to gap them myself what are some other numbers I should be looking at when shopping for plugs (length?) and should I just stick with the 8mm plug wires?
any recommended vendors ?

RE: 3.4L Which Plugs and Wires
If the car is running good and you are going to sell it soon, I would personally liave it alone. Otherwise get a set of stock plugs and wires and you'll be good for at least another 35K. If you are going to buy platinum tipped plugs, make sure to get those that have platinum tips on both the center and side electrode (dual platinum). The reason for this is that the DIS ignition that comes with this car fires 3 plugs from the center electrode to the side (ground) electrode, and the other 3 plugs get fired from the side (ground) to the center. The firing elctrode wears much more than the non firing one. So with regular platinum plugs, 3 of the plugs will last for a very long time, and the other 3 plugs will wear out the side electrode in a short time.
